Welcome to Schmidt’s Landing Resort located on the South Dakota side of Big Stone Lake – a well known walleye and perch fishery.

Jim and Donna Gregory have owned Schmidt’s Landing
since July 1994.  They have continually worked to improve the facility creating the ideal private location for your vacation, family gathering, or group meetings. Free
wireless internet to all guests!

Fishing is just one highlight that brings people to Big Stone Lake, of course there are a lot of other attractions:  wildlife refuge, antique shopping, unique craft & specialty shops, large indoor recreational facility, bird watching, historical sites, two municipal golf courses and lots of water recreation all within a half-hour drive.
